Ethereum rate fell by 10% per day, updating the price minimum from July 2021 at $1.79 thousand. On the morning of May 26, the price of ETH was fluctuating around $1.9 thousand, but during the day the cryptocurrency price showed a sharp drop. Two weeks earlier, on May 12, the price dipped to $1,800, but recovered to $2,000 the next day.

Ethereum’s capitalization fell to $220 billion with daily trading volumes of $16.1 billion and a market share of 17.35%, according to CoinGecko. The asset is trading 62.8 low its all-time high of $4,800, which was set in November 2021.

Other cryptocurrencies also fell in price on May 26. The price of bitcoin fell by 2%, to $28.9 thousand, the rate of Binance Coin fell by 5.2%, to $309. Total market valuation decreased by 3% to $1.2 trillion.
