During Computex Taipei 2022, AMD announced the release of budget Ryzen and Athlon 7000 processors codenamed Mendocino. With these devices, you can use a Windows notebook or Chromebook, as well as access the Internet. The new generation Mendocino will include AMD Ryzen 3 7420U, Athlon Gold 7230 U processors and Athlon Style 7020U processors.
At the moment, details about Ryzen 3 7420U are known, which will have 4 physical cores and 8 virtual threads.It should be noted that the processors here will be built on the AMD Nen 2 architecture, and the video core will be based on the RDNA2 architecture.
